Therapy for individual adults in north texas

Coffee houses allow us to choose what we need and want. Is life allowing you to do the same?

Does life feel like a coffee bar with no ingredient options?

There is hope! You can re-create life’s coffee bar!

An empty coffee bar is an opportunity to choose new ingredients!

Burnout is like an empty coffee bar. The customers keep coming in asking for sugar, napkins and stirs, but you just do not have anything more to give. Whether you are a parent with too many responsibilities, a caregiver, or a professional in a stressful job, there comes a point when you need to re-order the ingredients that are empty. The question is how—how do you order enough strength and enough patience to keep going?

I help clients find the ingredients that they need and then help them find ways to receive what they both need and want. I support them as they learn to fill their coffee bars from the inside out. I provide validation for them when they doubt that they deserve the ingredients and a safe, confidential environment for them to re-imagine or to build a new coffee shop, if needed.

Hi, I’m Gay Lee.

About Me…

Prior to being a therapist, I spent 27 years in the field of education, spending most of my time in special education and in early childhood. I served as a teacher, an administrator, a consultant and a program coordinator.

As a therapist, I draw from my experiences as an employee, a supervisor, and a caregiver to empathize, validate and support my clients as they take the first steps in building their life’s coffee house!

It is possible to update life’s coffee bar. You just have to order the ingredients!
